West Anaheim Medical Center is a 219-bed acute-care, medical and surgical facility offering a wide range of ancillary services. West Anaheim Medical Center services include a highly efficient, remodeled and expanded Emergency Department, a state-of-the-art open heart surgery and digital Cardiac (Cath) Lab, digital (filmless) diagnostic imaging, and Behavioral Health Services including Inpatient Mature Adult/Geriatric Program, Intensive Outpatient, and Partial Hospitalization Program.
A staff of more than 700 registered nurses and technicians with 300 physician medical staff provide patients with quality service delivered with care and compassion. West Anaheim Medical Center is owned and operated by Prime Healthcare Services, Inc. a progressive, innovative and rapidly expanding hospital management company in Southern California. Prime Healthcare Services was founded in 2001 by Prem Reddy, MD, FACC, FCCP, a cardiologist, entrepreneur and a dedicated philanthropist who serves as its Chairman of the Board. Dr. Prem Reddy is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
